When you apply for a bail plea, the court will have a hearing on whether you deserve a bail. If you are granted a bail, the set amount must be paid in cash. If you cannot afford to pay your bail amount, you should get help from a bail agent. A bail agent would ensure bond and pay your bail amount. In return, you need to pay a minimum of $100 or 10-15% of the total bail amount.
