Bail and Bondsman
Sterling County Jail allows you or any other person to bail an inmate out of jail. Bail is usually a method of obtaining release from jail custody. To get your release, you need to pay a certain amount of money, which is set by the court. Note that bailing costs are paid in cash only. If you are going through financial hardship or if you cannot raise your bail amount, you can get help from a bail agent. A bail agent would ensure bond and pay your bail amount. Thus, you will need to pay $100 or 10-15% of the total bail amount as a service fee.
